hi. Being a lover of all lost causes,i bought said boat.needs fair bit of work, new hatches, rudder, centre plate and a full repaint.also got to modify the trailer and source a foresail.hope to get some photos here soon,so you all can offer tea and sympathy,or have a b****y good laugh! I'm led to believe there are a few of these on the Broads, any advice from current/previous owners would be most welcome!

Hi.
Good luck with the restoration, and don't get disheartened they often look worse than they are. I am sure it will look nice when you have it back on the water.
There was a Bradwell 18 advertised on Ebay a while back that was moored at Wroxham.

Hi Steve,
give me a shout when you know the size of the jib you need, I have a good selection of secondhand ones you are welcome to try.
Be good to see some pics of the boat, I'm presently restoring a 28' wooden broads yacht and a rather lovely Hurley 18 long keel grp yacht.
cheers
Mat

will get some pics on soon,(honest, guv!)but don't seem able to upload from my phone.am working on it! The old girl is still untouched, been busy sorting permanent home for her.fully intended keeping her in my garage but the other half weren 't too happy with the idea. Think she thought she'd never see me! True enough but she could always have joined in......

Just had a look. Seen far worse, and restored far worse.
Can see what you mean about the quarter berth. Its small so guess it could be sacrificed.

Keep the faith. It will look grand when you finish it, and I look forward to following its progress.
