Now I have to adjust the rollers to get the boat to sit correctly then start on the inside, first job is to glass fibre the area along the keel to ensure water tight. Paint then start on the decks.

Has been 3 months since been able to do any work on the boat due to the heat and rain. Wet season and a cyclone just before christmas. So my good wife and I flew down to Melbourne then drove 500 km to a grand place on the river Murray called Mildrura. The Murray is the 5th longest river in the world and is full of boa ties. we put an offer in on a 12 month old house with a 30 ft x 20 ft shed so I can finishing building the boat in comfort. Also the minister of finance can retire. All we have to do is to sell the house in Darwin. Hope that next pics will be of the boat in it's shed.

Working on the boat again. Have thought I had lost the boat in April on its 3000km trip on a truck from Darwin to Mildura via Adelaide Ifinally tracked it down across the boarder in NSW. only 20 km away but I did pay $4500 for door to door. So had to go and tow it home with no registration on the trailer, at night. Any way she is now in a nice shed and the decks are on, floor bearers in and the bilges painted. Can now start on the cabin sides.  But alas the old ticker is playing up so on Thursday it is off to Melbourne on the pale to go into hospital. Only an hour flight better than the 4 from Darwin, still I love the river here, just like living in the UK.  1st pic is looking aft

And this one is the tool trolley my son brought me for my birthday last week so I don't trip over the tools I leave lying around.
