We were down last week and spotted Water Rail outside LBBY on Friday 6th June when we cruised Stalham to St Benets and back. She certainly looked very good. I had forgotten she had been in refit all winter.
The boys were busy craning a river cruiser as we passed.
Apologies for not posting sooner, I've been indisposed this week.
Great job LBBY - Liz, you must be a very happy lady
I saw her (the boat) at various stages over the last few months of restoration, then for some reason was not able to visit the yard. I was completely G**smacked when I saw the finished article last weekend
Thank you to all for the good wishes. She has been a member of the family for 50 years, but I am just her custodian, she is part of Broadlands heritage and LBBY and myself are just there to keep her with us for another 50 years?
She has to be cared for and so much of her is still original, you only have to look under parts to see the clues
Water Rail, 81 years old this year and still looking beautful!
