Hi All Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine as far as we can. We wondered if anyone had thoughts on the planning application for the site beside the Chippy in Potter it is on the BA website. Holiday flats and a restaurant. Looks as though parking maybe an issue. Kindest Regards Marge and Parge

Hi Both My overall opinion is that anything that will improve that side of the bridge has got to be a good thing. A lot of effort has been put in to the potter side in recent years and the improvement is clear to see. The martham side has had no such improvement and looks more and more delapidated and unloved as each year passes . I observe that the coach bit of the huge HW car park over the bridge has recently been resurfaced and I would imagine will provide space for as many visitors who would ever want to visit potter at one time. Hope to see you this summer. Graham

It is useful bringing a planning application to members' attention on here but if you have comments or objections to a particular scheme you need to log them on the appropriate planning portal otherwise they shall not be taken into account when the application is decided. Just to balance the books, comments can be in support of a scheme if you think it is worthwhile and shall improve the site although in all honesty it is normal that public comments generally raise concerns and objections

It looks like the new parking arrangements are in place...

It's interesting that the car parking arrangements have been actioned when the application hasn't yet been determined, and there are several substantial ojections to it.
