Yep, congratulations on a successful event. Sadly in some quarters the event brought out the a very sad over reaction. Hopefully the doom sayers will acknowledge that their fears were unfounded  and might even welcome future similar events.

I think that question is being asked in the wrong place. I believe we have had a very sensible discussion on this forum, and I haven't noticed any over-reaction here.

It would be nice if we had some sort of unbiased after-event report, just to let us know how the swimmers coped with the boats and vice versa.
