Those in Norfolk (as no doubt elsewhere) are still pondering over what their Council Tax Accounts will finally total up to! At least they are still going to salt a lot more roads than a lot of rural counties plan to do

Mine has only just reached the same as I was paying back in 2012 for the gt.ouse which is badly silted up as the EA won't dredge and gets closed to navigation anytime it rains a bit heavy as the locks get opened for flood discharge. Yes I'm happy with it, you could have it so much worse.
I fully agree with Dilligaf. When we relocated from Gt Ouse to the Broads 4 years ago our toll almost halved (same boat). Facilities are minimal on the Gt Ouse and you can forget about shore power unless you get permission to moor at a marina each night. The lack of dredging also means a lot of weed growth which can get you bogged down in some places during the summer months.
