A Broads Authority 24 hour mooring sign has appeared at the Berney Mill moorings. It is currently taped over but no doubt the moorings will be in use as BA official ones shortly.

Presume this is in addition to the existing BA 24hr mooring there?

Regards, Ray.

Whatever happens now, I'm blaming it on Brexit. Everyone else is!

It is, the existing moorings are known as 'Berney Arms Reach', the new ones are 'Berney Mill'.

Do the new Berney Mill 24 hour moorings link up with the existing Berney Arms Reach 24 hour moorings. If that is the case then the new 24 hour moorings will stretch for perhaps 400 yards or more.

We went to the Berney moorings at the weekend. The broads authority have put in some new 24 hour moorings which stretch from The Berney windmill downriver for about 150 yards. New safety chains have been put in and a new safety ladder. There is then a gap of about 150 yards before the existing 24 hour free moorings commence.
