So jolly old JP has given himself another job!  Smile  I'd like to be a fly on the wall at this meeting. I have my doubts as to what use this will have. Sorry but I see a lot of wasted time by high earning bods having tea and biscuits at my expense.
Tell the police we are not happy with their response to some of the incidents and do their job. The rest of them are wasting their time.
Tell a group of lads going on a stag trip to behave!!!....not going to happen.
Just my thoughts anyway. I don't expect anyone will agree with me.
I'm off to cook tea.

Islander, you're just an old cynic...but so am I  Smile   But who are these other "role players"? Of those group members mentioned in the article, the only one not already part of the BA machinery is the police inspector.

Job done, chaps. We formed a working group, no need to do anything else, except publish a report in the middle of winter, when everybody has forgotten about it, and say the reports of antisocial behaviour were exaggerated and a leaflet or two, to be handed out by the hire companies, will be sufficient. After all, this is criminal behaviour, nothing to do with the Rangers. Pass the buck onto the police. Yeah.

Smile  Paladine. This is just more tea and biscuits then so thay can say that something is being done. Leaflets= more waste paper but it will give an it bod something to do rather than make the BA site more user friendly.

Youre damned if you do and damned if you don't. If the BA did nothing people would moan and ask what do we pay our money for. If they do take a lead and try to do something people condemn it saying it wont come to anything. Unbelievable !

I watched Great Canal Journeys last night with interest. An hour of promoting the Broads but would they mention antisocial behaviour.
Well they showed a stag boat with s suitably dressed crew and whilst with Broads Beat, news of an incident came in over the radio and we were told that the party were going to be met at Great Yarmouth for a ticking off.
So all in all a good program which fairly shows what to expect in your holiday on the Broads

It also showed pictures of the 50's with people stood around the deck and the cabin roof covered in bottles of beer. So I guess the behaviour your so incensed about has been going on for a long time.
