Noticed again yesterday that the boats were double moored at Great Yarmouth Yatch Station.   Must be busy.

When I came past Monday lunch time the station was very busy and that was after I coulted 28 boats through Breydon Water as I came over.

This shows some boats - 10 mins into the video - moored at the station still waiting for the tide.

You will get advertising as that is how ustream can magane to give it freely as I explained here
http://www.the-norfolk-broads.co.uk/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=27&Topic=24520&srow=51&erow=60

I dont think a  20 - 30 second advertisement isnt too bad for an 16+  min live streamed free video.

I seem to remember that back in the early 80's, the boats at Yarmouth YS could often be seen triple-moored...or did I dream it? Smile

You didn't dream it John! It was 3 deep as far back
as the mid-60's! Time someone took over that old
Marina Keys further up then there would be moorings
for everyone. If things are supposed to be picking
up again, maybe it would be worth it to someone?
If only..

Who mentioned a drout????
Where's me waterproofs?

Marina Keys is just a pure waste of good moorings.   Never mind the Volley ball for the olympics next year , come on Great Yarmouth Council, stick a few pennies into sorting the marina out.    Tidy up the area, dredge the mooring and put in new mooring posts, win win situation, will bring in more trade to the town.

I see on the Aldreds website that Marina Keys is "Under Offer"
Needs about £30000 worth of dredging + the repairs to the quay heading.
