My post was only meant to state the facts and, unfortunately, it did so rather too starkly.

It should have been tempered a little more so, in fact, it's me who should apologise...sorry!  Blush

Dibbler - no apologies needed or sought. Just realised I wasn't clear so edited it clearly to make it so, a dry sense of humour often doesn't read well - I guess that's why they invented smilies Smile

I see no reason why a group should not propose a representative but the reality is that that representative will be expected to act independently of the group. Personally I disagree with that requirement but that is how it is.

Having been there I am convinced that clever presentation, along with results from biased 'consultation', tends to provoke the administration's desired result.
