Norman Lamb is quoted in an EDP article today as intending to object to the Bill in the Commons.

EDP24 has a vote on its homepage so, please, all of you go there now and place your vote for democracy - http://new.edp24.co.uk/ .

Re the article re the Doctor Who never listens, he is clearly rattled, bonus! Dr Packman, why not listen to Norman Lamb, he speaks with a great deal of sense. This could be the turning point for the Broads, a return from the impending abyss. A electable Chairman, now, that's a thought.

Should there be direct elections to the Broads Authority?

So far, over 90% say yes. Blackbeard will have to rally more troops!

Dr. Packman suggests that the Bill is not the place to introduce elections, yet earlier in the Bills progress the Parliamentary Committee suggested that it should.

And just in case Norman is caught short EMAIL YOUR MP !!!

Following the link from the site it took me less than 5 mins to email mine pointing out to him that as Norman was going to oppose the Bill perhaps he would like to support him in the name of DEMOCRACY!!!

I pointed out to him that as the BA had stopped listening to anyone including the Commons Select Committee perhaps it was appropriate to call for more discussion!!!

No specific letter writing skills thats all that is required.
