Can anybody give me some info on Broadsedge? Is it a good place to be? Are the people nice and will they help out a newcomer?

hi lindsay , quite a few of us on the site are at broadsedge ,it's a lovely marina , well kept and looked after ,very clean and green there to , i've never had any trouble there and we always find that others there do help one and other , sometimes we just stay in the yard at weekends it's that nice there ,also you just have the shops in the town so you can get your food / takeaway / diy bits ,all close by , hope this helps and do please ask away if you have more questions , cheers

Lindsay, It's very good there, we've been on 2 years and just paid for next year. Let us know when you get on and we'll pop over and see you.

We like Broadsedge and Dave was very helpful when we were researching moorings before buying Ella. Unfortunately, it's not for us as we are all year boaters. Anyone that moors there will appreciate the significance of that statement. In a word - ICE (sometimes all the way to Barton Broad).

Thanks to Everyone. I have spoken to Dave and will hopefully confiming that I would like a mooring at Broadsedge, subject to a successful survey on Wednesday. So fingers crossed, we could be owners very shortly. Thanks again

Hi Any idea on the cost to moor and what do you get, ie Electric, water etc? When we move house and get the new boat we may also end up moving marinas. The new boat just won't fit in Blue Skies berth.
Kind regards, John & Jo (Captain Joshie & Mrs Blue Skies) .

John, I think it was £29/foot this year. There is water there but no electric hook ups, but toilets and showers from Easter to September. We like it there and there are quite a few other members there too.
