And more to the point it would be wrong of this forum to do so.

I should imagine that for a family of four or five there will be quite a few challenges to living on board a Broads boat for long periods. There have been other threads on the subject of liveaboards and the various matters associated with that, so you may want to search them out and take a look to get a feel for some of those issues and the varying views you may encounter. As has been said however, the proper advice should be sought from the Broads Authority.

Use the blue search button towards the top right of the page.

This report went to the Navigation Committee yesterday and provides in Para 5 - 1h a concise update on residential moorings in the emerging Local Plan

Welcome,Tally. Not sure about the ethics of recommending other for a on here, but for a good insight into the trials and tribulations of living aboard the a squint at 'Canalworld discussion forum'. (Google 'CWDF') Obviously nothing about the Broads but very good on the practicalities. A mate lives on a narrowboat on the Ouse and got a lot of good advice when he was setting up 5-odd years ago.
