On chatting to someone recently they happened to mention that the mooring fees for the harbour , between the posts, mooring was £200 a year.  Now I am sure this cannot be correct, has anyone any idea of exactly how much the moorings are?

I am sure there must be someone on the forum who will know the correct cost per year.

This could well be the case , if the moorings are owned by the parish council they are none profit making hence the cheapness , its only buisness that usually charge lots to earn money hence making it a profitable buisness

Hi I was talking to John the Harbour master last week and the fees are £26 per foot this year, he said they may go up next year, maybe £27.

Thanks for that.   I tried to ring the Harbour Master but he was obviously busy as the phone just rang and rang.
