Hi Dan,

Have you tried Broadsedge at Stalham? I think their rates are something like £30 per foot. That would make yours £540. I don't have contact details for them, but a number of forum members moor there and it gets a good write-up. You could try doing a search for it in the search box, I'm sure that would find it.

Steve.

I think  there is a minimum charge around the twenty foot mark at broadsedge which would mean you would be paying around the £600 mark .the number is 01692 582881

Hi Dan

Have a try at Russell Marine, they have just 'made' some new spaces for smaller boats at the Acle Dyke Marina, with power and water. Their website has the contact details.

Kind regards, John(Captain Joshie)& Jo, 'Rosie L'Ondine' L799.

When we were looking for a mooring, we found that, bar one, every place quoted a price per foot that did NOT include VAT, so you may need to add that in too.

I recall that the cheapest was Horning Village Moorings - where you have to row across the river to get to your spot. This of course makes the price cheaper than others, so it depends on what you're after really. I don't have the contact details to hand, but I'm sure another member will be able to provide them...

Have you thought of joining a sailing club? Most have moorings, which might not be as smart or as well serviced as commercial ones, are functional and offer the possible benefit of some social life as well.

I know Horning Sailing Club have moorings on the far side of the river above the Swan. The Club have dinghies so that you can row across to your boat if you don't have your own dinghy. Membership fees are reasonable, as are the moorings. For other clubs, look at www.thegreenbook.org.uk .

Hi all

We think we are settled on a mooring at the Sabena Marine yard in wroxham, its very reasonable cost and close to all amenities.

many thanks
Danial
