Hi Baz,long time no see, David never mentioned any rise in the mooring fees when I spoke to him Saturday, I'm waiting for a call from David so as soon as I do I'll post the correct price, I know on Brightside it does say £35 a foot but that is including vat, if it has gone up to £35 plus vat I think there may be quite a few looking for new mooring, thats one hell of a hike,,
I'm Not CRAZY, my view on reality is just different to YOURS,,,

Hi Frank and all, it was posted on the other side, along with a list of other marina's. I thought at the time it was a bit high, but didn't say anything until I knew for sure. Baz

Hi Finny, I'm responsible for the list over there. I make the VAT on £30 to be £5.25 (hence the £35.25 total). I try to show what you actually pay in all cases. All the best,

Steve That has to be the right way to show 'actual cost paid' not many of us are business's that can reclaim VAT, mores the pity.

Hi Perry, I'm VAT registered but as much as I would love to reclaim the VAT, unless I start using the boat for business that's one avenue of savings that is totally "off limits." Ice Creams anyone?

On a slightly different tack (pun intended)I reckon that those of us that moor at Broadsedge should get together and sort a saturday aft/evening out during june or july and have a Barbi on the big brick built one near the old swimming pool to get to know one another, hands up those that are interested. Ted The trouble with jogging is the ice falls out of you glass.

sounds good to me. It will be our first year there so it would be nice to get to know other people. Our boat is southward bound at the end of march. Were currently on the aire and calder in yorkshire.

Hi Steve vicky, and Andy, yes we hope to be at ranworth on the 21st june too, but if we can fix up an informal drinkypoose & Barbi that would be good, lets see how many people reply to the thread and go from there. Ted. work is the curse of the drinking classes.
