Hi, I just joined today, I have been a regular visitor to the Broads, with my parents with my own family on rented craft, yachts cruisers etc. I have had my own boat a Viking 23 for many years, it is moored on the inland waterways, we have towed the boat to Norfolk on several occasions, and there is nothing like taking your own vessel straight through Potter Heigham Bridge. I have taken our boat to virtually all the furthest points navigable on both the Northern and Southern broads. And guess what... No Locks.
I joined the forum because I like keeping in touch with the Broads, waterways magazines don't cover the detail. I have read some of the forums and feel as though I can contribute as well.
We hope to visit again for several weeks this summer, no doubt I will be in touch shortly to ask advice for short term mooring (Boat + Car + Trailer).
Keep on cruising best regards, Richard

I'd rather be on the Broads.... No locks.
