Hi Foo,
Welcome mate Smile
Lots of suncream, anti midge warfare and sun glasses.
Dont clutter the fridge up with food its to keep the booze cool.
What boat have you got,if it is a forward drive a sun hat is a good thing cos the sunshine bounces off the bulk head straight on to the back of your neck (OUCH),
Super boats ,used them loads of times.
oh nearly forgot leave me a pint in at any northern river pub tounge-in-cheek

I was in royals yard on friday and the boats were looking fantastic I didn't take any pictures though as it was 6:30 in the morning and thought it might look bit odd.

Excellent choice of yard.
They take a real pride in the condition of their boats, and impressed us by descending on the boat armed with copious amounts of hot soapy water for a thorough clean down, immediately after we vacated it.
If I was being picky (really picky) I would say that I don't like their choice of engine. Compared with other boats that we have hired, we found the Ford diesel (sited under our feet in the cockpit) to be rather noisy. Other yards have fitted quieter engines (Nanni I think) and also fitted them in a locker at the extreme back end of the boat - with a hydraulic gearbox the engine can be fitted anywhere that you like.
However, in our opinion, you will look long and hard to find a better kept hireboat anywhere on the broads.

E/boat Steve
