Hi everyone,

Were the Blacklock's and are looking to be going on a holiday in the Norfolk Broads area for our family of 6 in the summer but we haven't had any experience at it apart from myself being in the sea cadets when I was younger but you have people there that know what they're doing.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what are the best sites to look on and any other helpful information we may need.

Thankyou Smile
Shannon

Welcome to the forum, BlacklockClan. You don't say what sort of holiday you will be taking, afloat or ashore?

There are a number of sites you could look at. Here are just a couple of suggestions:

http://www.norfolkbroads.com/
http://www.enjoythebroads.com/
http://www.visitnorfolk.co.uk/
http://www.visitnorthnorfolk.com/
http://www.visitwestnorfolk.com/
http://www.south-norfolk.gov.uk/visiting/

If you're hiring a boat, try looking through the on-line booklets on Richardson's website http://www.richardsonsboatingholidays.co.uk/first-timers/

Plenty there to whet your appetite.

There's also a search facility on this site - the blue-bounded box just to the right of the log in/log out button. Click on that and enter your search criteria. Loads to find using that.

Welcome to the forum, Pally has given you a pretty comprehensive list, if you want to ask in specific questions... I'm sure you will get answers here.

Hi

I am sure you will enjoy your visit. In the download section on this forum there is a first time on the broads PDF file which in my opinion is 63 pages of pure gold . Almost as funnyas Michael green but full of useful stuff as well. In my opinion it should be required reading for all who visit the broads.

Regrettably I played no part in its production but all who did have done the rest of the world a great service.

Have fun

Graham
