Hi all
After much deliberation we have finally booked our first cruise that we sail ourselves.
The brink craft quartet at Wroxham .
Any help with places to visit on a 1 week cruise would be gratefully received also moorings that are dog friendly
Thanks

Hi Gavin, welcome to the Broads. Depending on the size of your hound I suppose most Broads moorings are relatively dog friendly. If he/she's a Newfy or Wolf Hound then I suppose lugging him/her up and down the ladders at Gt Yarmouth might be a bit of a challenge though. Some pubs are dog friendly, some are not. A search on that subject should bring it up. Enjoy!

Be careful of Cockshoot, the wire mesh on the boardwalks is not doggie paw friendly and the gaps between the boards are also dodgy. Our English Springer had a mishap there but fortunately there was a vet around on the boat next door. His view was that he would not walk a dog on that surface.

Hi there Gavin, if you have one week its best to stick to the northern side as going through Yarmouth can take a few days & you have to wait around for the tides. There are loads of places to visit & most should be dog friendly. We always visit Ludham, Potter Heigham, Ludham bridge,How hill, Stalham, Acle bridge (for the pub!) And a few wild moorings along the way.      Hope you have a great time !
