Picking up our new (to us) sports cruiser tomorrow at St Olaves and bringing it back to Barton Broad.
Postponed from today due to the dodgy weather.
Nervous about Breydon Water. ...any words of encouragement?

You'll be fine!.
At least if there is a good chop on Breydon the crew can put the toilet system through its paces;-)
Do your checks before you leave, know the tide times.
Go with the flow arriving at Yarmouth at slack low water no problem.
Very exciting for you, have a great time!

Take your time, don't panic but most importantly ring the guys at the yacht club or Haven Bridge to check the bridge clearance at GY before you set off.
On the Bright side you will be to open her up a bit on Breydon!

Enjoy

"Hi" As already said make sure you contact the yacht station  to confirm slack water and with your boat you should make it over in about 3/4 hour no problem, good luck and enjoy your trip.  Smile

Kindest Regards Mike
