I have just returned from four fabulous nights on the Broads. It was also my first time on the Broads, and I can tell you that you will also enjoy it. I started from Horning which is not that far from Wroxham. For the 1st night I stopped at Salhouse Broad and had dinner at the Fur and Feathers. One of the best pubs on the Broads. Second day I visited Wroxhamhowever could not continue to Coltishall as the tide was a bit high. So if you intend to go to Coltishall check with the Bridge pilot a few hours before. For the second night I moored at Horning and went to the Ferry Inn pub where they offer very good food. Third night I visited St Benet's and also How Hill and moored for the night at Stalham. There is a Tesco Supermarket if you want to buy some groceries. It is about 10 minutes walk from Stalham marina. The fourth and last day I spent a few hours at Ranworth/Malthouse Broad and visited the Church and the Wildlife centre. Be sure that you arrive before noon to find a mooring place as it is always busy. Fifth day I returned the boat to Horning. You will not get bored as there are so many things to do. Mooring takes some concentration but if you take it slow you will surely manage. Other boaters are always ready to help. Very nice people. I also tried mud-weight on Malthouse and spend the afternoon relaxing having a cup of tea. Enjoy youself.
