During the second week of July we will be spending 4 nights at the Norfolk Broads (Northern part) - starting and finishing at Horning. This would be our first time as boaters and in Norfolk Broads. Although the underneath itinerary is just a guide, I would appreciate your comments, corrections and remarks.

Tue: Leave Horning (afternoon) to Coltishall. (suggestions about Wroxham Bridge?).
Wed: From Coltishall head back to Wroxham (2/3 hours sightseeing). From Wroxham go to Ranworth/Malthouse Broad (arrive at about 4 -5pm – Is this a busy time for mooring).
Thurs: From Ranworth sail to St Benet’s Abbey (2 hours stop). Continue towards Potter Heigham for the night. (Do you recommend Potter Heigham or is it better to head to another place such as Ant River?).
Fri: From Potter Heigham go to How Hill (stop for 2 hours). Continue to Horning near New Inn or Swan Inn (stay the night).
Sat: Back To Horning Marina.

Is the above itinerary doable? Would also like some suggestions or mooring places for the night.

Some possible  pointers.
Assume you have the right air draft to get under Wroxham ? 7ft 3 or higher usually makes it a no no and dependent on the actual  water levels at the time it is usually lower. Call the Pilot in advance on 07775 297638 as he will have to take you through anyway - if you can get under however, then Coltishall is well worth visiting.

Ranworth Staithe is sometimes refered to as the M25 of the Broads for a good reason  and 4 - 5 PM in Summer season means you are pushing it. Best time to try is often after 09:00 but before Lunch, and then again  early to mid afternoon. You can however use the Island but no access to land and there is a fee, also you can mudweight on the Broad and wait til someone leaves.

I personally would go up the Ant after St Benets, and would moor at Gayes Staithe  or Neatishead so as to go to the White Horse in the evening. If both full then  would try Paddys Lane, but  is a longer walk to the pub. take a torch in any case. Even if you dont use the pub they are lovely moorings particularly Gayes and Paddys lane

Fri: Stop at How Hill on way down river  if  not done  so on way up,  then cruise back towards St Bennets but turning right off the Bure to explore Fleet Dyke and South Walsham Broad, mud weight for lunch on board. Set of in the afternoon for Horning, book a mooring at the Swan, New Inn or Ferry Inn . Alternatively carry on to Salhouse  Broad, moor,  stern on (fee) and go to have a final meal at the fur and feather:                                 www.thefurandfeather.co.uk/
Sat morning short cruise back to Horning (Ferry marina ? )
