Hi there welcome to the forum. I hire from brundall
before a nice starting point, we always headed towards
Norwich on are first night and if we could get to
bramerton woods end now I think its called the waters
edge. This is a lovely stop for the first night and
gives you some travel time to get used to the boat. You
could carry on the next day to Norwich or you could go
back the way you came and head for Reedham, also a
lovely little village, but there lots of lovely place
you can do as much or as little as you like. On a 3 day
break I wouldn't even think of going to the northern
broads just enjoy the south. Every thing at a slow
speed. enjoy and have a great time.

Chris

Mark Hi,

Another nice pub is The Rushcutters which is past The Waters Edge towards Norwich and just by the bridge  at Thorpe.  If you do go there I would moor in commissioners cut as the bridge is very restricted for clearance.  You may get through but could find yourself stuck the other side of the bridge should the tide be coming in.  From Commissioners cut you just cross over the railway bridge, a short walk straight to the main road then turn left and the pub is on the left.  If you follow this link it will take you to pub maps on my web site. http://www.mynorfolkbroadsboating.co.uk/norfolk%20broads%20pubs%20map.html

Have a great holiday.

Kind Regards
Alan...

Hello and welcome. Rockland broad is a nice quiet place to stay overnight and the New Inn pub has great food and good drinks. Just make sure you have plenty of water and power. Really worth a visit.

best regards,
Eric

Hi As you're only there for 3 days I would head straight for Oulton the 1st night them Beccles the second night and back to Brundal area on the last night, plenty of sailing but well worth it IMHO
