It is my first vista to the Norfolk Broads and we have a 3 night trip starting at Brundall. Any good suggestions for stopping sites and pub recommendations? and if you nay have 3 nights how far should you go down the Broads?
Hi there welcome to the forum. I hire from brundall before a nice starting point, we always headed towards Norwich on are first night and if we could get to bramerton woods end now I think its called the waters edge. This is a lovely stop for the first night and gives you some travel time to get used to the boat. You could carry on the next day to Norwich or you could go back the way you came and head for Reedham, also a lovely little village, but there lots of lovely place you can do as much or as little as you like. On a 3 day break I wouldn't even think of going to the northern broads just enjoy the south. Every thing at a slow speed. enjoy and have a great time.

Another nice pub is The Rushcutters which is past The Waters Edge towards Norwich and just by the bridge at Thorpe. If you do go there I would moor in commissioners cut as the bridge is very restricted for clearance. You may get through but could find yourself stuck the other side of the bridge should the tide be coming in. From Commissioners cut you just cross over the railway bridge, a short walk straight to the main road then turn left and the pub is on the left. If you follow this link it will take you to pub maps on my web site. http://www.mynorfolkbroadsboating.co.uk/norfolk%20broads%20pubs%20map.html
