Hello Simon, you should be able to get under Potter Heigham bridge assuming you are in an Admiral or Emperor. Go past Martham Boats, turn left into Heigham Sound then , after about a mile, turn right into Meadow Dyke and on to Horsey. Moor there, have a bbq next to the boat and enjoy one of the most peaceful spots on the Broads. It costs £5 to stay the night but well worth it. Take the children down to the fantastic beach ( about a half hour walk) for a paddle and see the seals either on the sand or swimming in the sea. The Nelson Head pub is about 10 mins walk from the pub and well worth a visit. At Horsey staithe there are toilets, a shower and a decent little shop. At the end of the staithe Ross runs wildlife trips on his boat that are great fun.
Best wishes

Best wishes, Charles

Sorry your post wasn't released before now,'s been a busy day. Smile

Your future posts should appear straight away from now on...we only vet the first couple of posts from new members as we've had some scammers and generally unpleasant first posts over the years.

Belated welcome to the NBF by the way. Cheers
