Does anyone know if there are any WI-FI internet areas on the Broads, free or otherwise?

Gary, Thanks. I did try but obviously did not put the correct criteria in. I will try again. Cheers, Chris

Morning All What I know about computers you could write on a stamp but are you talking about 'hot spots' ? If so this was covered on this thread http://www.the-norfolk-broads.co.uk/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=22&Topic=4243 If I'm barking up the wrong tree I'll shut up and get back to the pub.

Brilliant! That is just the info I was after. Thanks. Now a silly question, how do I save the link to the thread so I can go back to it to see if there are any updates? Cheers, Chris

Hi Chris Glad that is the info you needed, wasn't sure! Gary is really your man for this but I guess he will be out with a rag and stick at the moment. As regards 'saving' the thread, if you right click over the link I posted earlier there is an option to save in your favourites. But if folks do post on 'old' threads then they do re-appear in the last 24 hours or 7 days discusions, so you just need to look out for them. Hope this makes sense!!!

Oh how I wish to be out with a rag and stick today. Alas, chores from SWMBO must be done. Luckily, she has popped out so I can get my fix on here! I have just had a look through "Geeks Corner" and cant find the thread I was after. I know we have spoken about this earlier and I think the open connections were at Stokesby (to the west of the pub) couple in Yarmouth, and Oulton, there is mine at Cantley (may be out of range for some though) one at Brundall and I think some at Horning. Go to netstumbler.org and download the free software, I use it on and it works all the time. Hope that helps

Gary Sorry about the sailing!! Are either of these links any good? One was not under geeks corner which could explain it. http://www.the-norfolk-broads.co.uk/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=43&Topic=3100 http://www.the-norfolk-broads.co.uk/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=38&Topic=3288 Howard I read about the evils of drink so I gave up reading

Chris, there are a couple or three ways to keep track of a thread. 1) you can post to the thread, and check the box "Notify me when someone replies" 2) At the top of every thread there's a red upside down flag (it's supposed to look like a bookmark), if you click on that it'll add to your bookmark list, the list should show up on the lefthand side of the navigation bar. 3) if you've replied to the thread you can click the "Your Active Discussions link". Hope that's of some help
