My apologies if this is not appropriate here but I would
like to know if anyone has upgraded to SkyQ 4K.
I have a 4K tv and and Sky HD box but would like to go
up to 4K. Has anyone done it already and if so, what's
it like?
Our particular interest is Motorcycle racing and this
would be so much better than standard HD.
We don't do football so Sky sports is of no use to us
but films and documentaries are.
Any views welcome.

It's alright for the rich and priveleged. Us peasants are stuck with "ordinary" HD. Playful

Regards, Ray.

Whatever happens now, I'm blaming it on Brexit. Everyone else is!

Looks like you're the only forumite who can afford 4K, Bill. Wink

If it's mainly for motorcycling, maybe you would be better off with the BT Sport 4K package.
I don't have either.

Hi Nigel. BT don't cover World Superbikes or British
Superbikes so that's a no-no.
No one else?  Question

Hello Bill, I have recently upgraded to Sky Q, there are not too many programmes transmitted in 4K at the moment but it will be increasing all the time. At the moment we have to rely on the up scaling of the TV and the Sky box which is very good, I recently rented a film in uhd off sky the picture quality was superb. Also when I signed up for the upgrade it worked out about £12 a month cheaper than my existing package, I'm not sure if that would be the case for everyone. You can also record 4 things at once and still watch another, I also changed back to sky broadband as this enables you to get the best out of the Sky Q but I had almost a month of woe which has only just been fixed,  just my bad luck I think, all in all money well spent in my opinion.

Phil.
