hi all
taking sappire out of richardsons end of month
its 12v and i have a inverter.will this be able to power a portable satalite....those ones that fold up in its own case...and most small appliences????

Robbie,

Would ask the yard that one, if you go to car 12v electrics the biggest that they suggest you run off the cigarete lighter is 150 watt due to the extra amperage drawn on the wiring.
150 watt will normally power a 15" portable and a freeview box or playstation.

Not an electrician so expect someone will be along with a more complete answer shortly.

i have a portable inverter and use the heavy leads and clip direct on to one of the batterys  it does 600w ok if you use the lighter socket its liable to melt it or blow the fuses mine will cope with a 1200w surge as a tv surges to start with
