Hello Matt, welcome this link gives you an idea if you have not found it alraedy.  Unusually these days they don't mind you taking your own food and drink although their local ice creams are supposed to be rather nice Smile

P.S. 'Mildred' is a personal friend of a forum member and went for a van ride with him.

My kids love this place, but it can be a bit like marmite!

If you have active kids with nurtured imaginations, they'll love it and not want to come away!

If you have couch potatoe PS2 players who just expect the entertainment to come to them, they might be a little disappointed.

As we left, some families were having to drag their kids away, others were moaning (quite incredibly in my opinion) about how there was "nothing to do", and the latter did seem to be more of the chav ilk!!!!

As for the food, in my opinion you get what you pay for. It is all locally sourced and (i think) organic. The proper sausage rolls are the best i've ever tried. So good I bought a couple more on our way out for Ron.

It's great for big kids (adults) too. I had a whale of a time!

It's not expensive in my book. If you stay all day it's good value, but it does get extremely busy in peak season.

Healthy happy family fun I reckon.

We Twiggles, Boggles and Crocklebogs (that's me!) can't wait to see you all at BeWILDerwood this coming season.
We have a new jungle bridge near the Broken Bridge - it makes my knees go wobbly!
And there's plenty of events going on throughout the season.
Look forward to seeing you there

Top tip for anyone wanting to visit BeWILDerwood - we're generally quieter at weekends, so come along and see us then!

(weekends are change over days for local holidaymakers so they tend to visit us on Tuesdays & Wednesdays).

Who is Minty, a relative? Where does she reside I think she has a birthday soon but no info.  Younger members here might want to send a card Smile

Minty's my niece. She's my sister's (Millicent) daughter. Yes, she is having a birthday in May and I'm so excited! Details of her birthday party are on the BeWILDerwood website.[url=http://www.bewilderwood.co.uk/events-bewilderwood.aspx]
We'll be encouraging people to come in fancy dress and there'll be lots of party games (all at no extra cost to the normal entry price).
You're more than welcome to send Minty a birthday card - I'm sure she'd be delighted!

I have my tiara at the ready!

Hi All

Went to Bewilderwood a few weeks ago with 4 children (4,4,6,and 7) and 3 big children, much improved on last year although will say to take a picnic as food is really expensive, not really very imaginative and you have to queue for ages.  Apart from that we had a great time, much more for the 4 year olds to do this time as there are toddlerwood areas all over now, they were braver than us on the bigger slides! Although we did have a laugh on the zip wires!  Would definitely recommend as a good day out as long as the weather is dry!
