Idler, Don't worry about the reply from Coriolis, the sort of boat he has got we know on here is a farty (farty/saily its all about wind). There are plenty of ICE boat (internal combustion engine) users about who will give you some decent advice. There is some rivalry between the Farties and the ICE boats but its all in good taste, until we see Coriolis on the water that is.
Regards Paul

Only a few yards do petrol because of the storage regulations. Brooms I think still do and Burgh Castle. The little petrol station in Loddon near to the village quay has closed. At Beccles Safways/Morrisons has a filling station which is a short walk from the Yacht Station. If you moor in Norwich close to the new bridge there is one on the new riverside development. If that helps
I know you knew what you were doing, dear, but you still hit the other boat! Bill...

There is a General store/Garage a short walk from Potter Bridge (go to the Bridge and turn right!) and the same at Womack (up to Ludham Village.) Regards Simon
A bad day on the water is better than a good day in the office.

The one near Potter bridge is Repps Service Station, just head South down the main road, 5 - 10 mins walk. There's also Asda petrol station in GY; from the yacht station walk over the Bure road bridge and head round the back of the railway station.

Well, thanks for all the responses. Together with a list from another site, I should be able to come up with something useful once I've done some verification. PaulW

Verification? You mean you don't trust us not to send you trotting off into the wilds of Norfolk, petrol can in hand, on a wild goose chase?

Although we're diesel-powered, we always keep a full 5 litre can of unleaded petrol for use in the little Honda generator so if anyone is ever struggling and needs emergency fuel for their outboard, please give us a shout and we would be more than happy to help. Look for a Princess 33 cruiser called "Mako". John
