Hi Jim A Advanced charging regulator will do the job of charging the battery's at the highest charge rate of the alternator the battery terminals and cable ends must be clean and greased with Vaseline the temp censers cable ends mustn't be over tightened on the battery terminals. John
You need to know the output amperage of the alternator. Then select the appropriate split charge unit from Sterling or any other company you fancy. As John suggests above, if upgrading, an advanced alternator regulator might be advised, to give a higher rate of recharge. Be aware different batteries need different charge rates, and maintenance attention.
