I have always got my gas from Boulters. Like most retailers, they have to suffer the same supply issues as others, so reliable most of the time, but not always. I have always had Calor in the past, but my current boat had Flogas when we got her, so we'll stick with that. I believe Flogas has a depot at Catfield, so maybe a better bet for supplies?

We have hedged our bets and we have one Flogas cylinder and one Calor. Ok we still have the supply issue to contend with but at least we have the time it takes to empty a complete cylinder to find a supplier with stock!

I switched from calor to Avanti. 47kg from calor £72.00, from Avanti £52.00 never had any problems with Avanti, also they dio not charge for the bottle hire like Calor do. Simon

We use Energas {Air Liquide group) for our commercial use and have suffered no shortages at all, gas arrives on time and we always get what we order. Dave
if it is to be it is up to me.

@JeremyFisher your avanti gas 47kg, does that come from the garage at sea palling? when I was looking at their site for info I came across this statement. "Please note, we cannot supply gas cylinders for domestic cooking purposes, only in conjunction with central heating cylinders" apparently if I sell the food I cook,,, that's perfectly ok.

We use the avanti gas for central heating and cooking. Never had a query regards the use of it. Ordered one today £62.00 delivered. I also checked the current Calor price - £99.50! How are they going to know what you use it for? Simon A bad day on the water is better than a good day in the office.
