We have an aquafiber 35 with a sliding roof. At the moment we have a manual winch for pulling it back up. Is it possible to fit some type of electric winch?
"Hi" I'm sure it is these days, if your near or around Horning pop into Boulters and talk with them as I'm sure Sonny will be able to help you out. Good Luck
Popping in to Boulter's might be problematic, as jimfin is based in Ireland, but a phone call might be fruitful

Presuming the mechanism is a simple cable operated hand winch system it is relatively simple to convert to a powered system , if yours is one of the rarer chain systems (more commonly fitted to Brooms than Aquafibre 35’s) then it’s slightly more complicated. A good friend of mine has recently (last year) converted his Broom to powered as opposed to manual his was the chain operated type and if memory serves me correct it cost him a shade under £1500 and it was carried out by Boulters in Horning .
