Sorry folks, I can't find any previous discussion although I'm sure there must have been one.

I'm looking for a recommendation to a maker of an all over summer cover for a 35ft Collins. Any recent personal experiences before I start googling?

Thanks

Calixte

Another one for creative covers, they did a great cheap job for me a few years ago.

I had an all-over cover made last year, got quotes from Bailey & Stone & Jeckells, but was persuaded by several recommendations to try Stormforce Canopies & Covers (07930 666 911). I’m really pleased with the result, especially so since in addition to Winter protection over the whole boat, I wanted an easy-fit tonneau cover to prevent leaves and debris accumulating in the centre cockpit during the week.

I’ve no pics of the all-over cover (which was made of Sunbrella in two sections zipped together for single-handed fitting and removal; although, of course, two people are needed to fold it neatly), but at the boat today I took a pic of the tonneau cover. Fantastic fit and attention to detail, genuine Tenax buttons were positioned in the exact position of the existing canopy studs, no extra drill-holes.

The attached pic will give you some idea, they’re definitely worth contacting to make a comparison with “the usual suspects”.

Hi Luise I cant see any ventilation holes! if none i suggest you get some fitted otherwise you will/can get condensation over winter. John

That's just the "daily" tonneau cover for the cockpit... on at the moment, for example, to stop leaves and debris being blown into the cockpit and possibly blocking drainage holes.

Obviously, the factory canopy and the full Winter cover have appropriate ventilation, access to cleats for attaching ropes and fenders etc.
