hi was wondering if anyone ever fitted a oil cooler to a perkins  .  I can't find one that is bolted of the header tank so I was wondering added one to there engine

You'd probably need a sandwich plate for the oil filter and pipe one from there.

Hi you could place it inline with incoming water supply this will cool it better as water will be at its coldest, then two oil hose's flow and return to oil filter this is how it is usually done with cooler bolted to top of bell housing top.John

Perkins 4/108 have an oil cooler as standard - don't know about other models though.
