Don't you just love families who hoard things!! Kev came across a stack of his fathers Practical Woodworking magazines from 1969/70/71 earlier and we have found some boatbuilding plans and blueprints amongst them.
If you fancy building yourself a Wood Nymph 16' day boat or a Foamcrest 12' Sailing Dinghy or a 12' Runabout Launch then let me know! I can scan the instructions and blueprints and post them up on here! There are also some instructions and ideas for fitting out the inside of a 19' motor cruiser
I'll show you the cover pictures for now but scanning the rest of the information will take a while so if no one is interested I won't bother! Thought Roya might be able to scale them down to make model versions too!!
First up is the Wood Nymph 16' Day Boat. I have the blueprints and all of the instructions except part 2 (April 1971 issue) which you may well be able to pick up on Ebay!
Here's the blueprints and instructions for the 12' Runabout. Are you thinking of building a model version or a full sized tender for Joshua? Can I come to the launch if so??? Please note the estimates for materials on page 2 of the blueprints!!! This is also apparently suitable for towing water-skiers with a suitable sized outboard.
I think the blueprints are OK - I had to scan each in four parts and photomerge them - if they're not alright let me know and I'll have another go.
