hi, anyone know the opening times for the broadland pubs over the christmas and new year period?
would be good for people to post their local pub information so others visiting had a good guide. Smile

The Malsters is open Xmas day, Pre booked lunch ,but ok for just a drink or two.
Will post later about Boxing day rest of the holiday seems to be as normal but a late one on new years eve.If coming by boat the \staithe is fenced off for repairs but there are spaces in the day boat dyke and to the left as you approach.

Who is around over New Year?   We will be at Womack for four days up to and over New Year.

Regards

Simon

A bad day on the water is better than a good day in the office.

Just a word of warning many of the riverside pubs over Christmas and the new year require advance bookings for food and only serve their xmas menus. It's quite easy to get caught out and if the local shop is shut for the day... Frown

Thanks bill, I will make sure we pick up a few basic supplies from roys when we arive, the only place i know for sure will be open except for christmas day, is mc donalds. just incase anyone really does get caught out!
for anyone whos not familiar with the area, branches at beccles, wroxham, yarmouth, spring to mind , but probably are others that have popped up recently.  Smile
think whetherspoons at norwich yt station will be open for food most of holidays, our local branch is anyway.

Throwers of Ludham is open every day except Christmas Day. However on Boxing Day and New Year's Day they are only open for an hour or so in the morning for the papers. So supplies should not be a big problem.
No information on the pubs as yet.
Rodney the butcher is closed 25, 26, 27, 28 and 1, 2 3.
