Not that i have much spare time these days - but i do like to keep my eye any development within hybrid boating .and with today's constant rising oil costs and if you are in it for long term boating - then its a no brain-er

have a look here ..and see what you think ??

Ok in theory but the costs are way expensive to convert an existing power plant. but if you were building from scratch then i could well be worth it. However I would be interested to see what draw it would have if you connected up to shorepower I suspect it would drain your bank balance in the blink of an eye.

Have I been to Trafalgar.....of course, had a lovely time sat on the steps and watched the lions....

I guess it depends on how you look at with regards costs - some are more than happy to chuck quite a few grands at something as simple as a bow thruster ...yet ??

click on "inland hybrid" and read the customer reviews - interesting ??

Well luckily enough we occasionally have tidal surges that push salt water up the rivers. So a small jar a smaller anode and cathode, couple of wires and Napoleon's your uncle no longer reliant on the french.

Or

Find all the 'stay press' trouser waring population of Norfolk line them up and get them jogging on the spot. Static is a wonderful invention, oncew again though it might take a while.

OK it might take an eon to charge, but we will have the last laugh.

VW are heavily committed to marine hybrids

I think the Greenline Hybrid 33 sold by one of the Brundall yards are VW powered.

The Broads are:-
Not a Theme Park.
The Broads need the winter to recover, the numbers are becoming too great and the grey water too damaging.

I don't know if this link will work, if it doesn't google Mermaid Marine and look at Steyr Hybrid. I thought it was very interesting.
