Hi Neil http://www.whatprice.co.uk/petrol-prices/filling-stations.html Is this the sort of thing you are looking for. Hopefully some of our petrol burning forumites will be able to come forward and suggest the nearst sources of petrol to the water, but I believe they are few and far between.

On the southern rivers on the waterside there is 1) the Waveney River Center - Burgh St Peter and 2) Brooms - Brundall. I never found any petrol on the Northern side - but I know that Acle Garage is within walking distance from the bridge depending on quantities - someone else might be able to suggest others...
Fell overboard? Let's just wait here, the tide will bring him back in.

Hi Neil, and Welcome, On the Northern side, assuming you are arriving by boat, you could try: Tesco's from Stalham Staithe (follow Town centre signs) Repps Garage from Potter Heigham (follow the footpath to the south of the river) Wroxham from Cains Meadow (footpath up towards the main road, then turn right) Ludham Garage from Womack Staithe (follow the road to the village) All less than 15 mins walk. Have fun Pete

On the Nth side there is Wayford. About 5 min walk from the bridge towards Norwich. Stalham. Tescos Less than a 10 Min walk. Wroxham Bridge. Towards Norwich is another but that is a long walk of about 20 mins. I have found that with a full tank plus an additional 5 gals I can get from Stalham to Norwich and back in a week with out any worries. That is 25 Gals. Use the tides saves loads.

Thanks to all. The info was very helpful. On my cruising I intend to note all the petrol stations so that I can compile a list for other members. Regards neil

There is a garage near Oulton Broad that you can walk to. On the way into Norwich you can moor near the footbridge and walk to Morrisons. There is also a Jet garage near to Norwich Yacht Station moorings. The garage at Repps (walk down from Potter Bridge) has now reopened having been closed for quite some time. It is under new ownership. Nigel Ludham

The Shell Station in Caister Road is close enough to the Great Yarmouth "Marina" (quotation marks intentional, what a waste of a perfect location) to fill a couple of 12-litre tanks. Peter

Neil, Are you looking for petrol stations or pumps by the waters edge?

Gary I am pretty sure that there are only pumps for diesel on the broads so really its for filling stations within walking distance. I am ok from Dilham to Stalham as I know where they are, its further on I need the info for. regards Neil
