What are folk paying for diesel just now? Two weekes ago I paid 55p at Sutton Staithe. This weekend I asked at Martham and they wanted 70p. I decided to go up to Whispering Reeds and was a tad stunned to be charged 80p a litre!  I know prices have gone up but......

My last fill-up at Boulters three weeks ago was 50p per litre.

I think Sonny may have moved up a fraction to just over 50p but not much so. Might be as much as 53p!!!

This is likely my own fault for not asking the price before being filled up! But I assumed I would get a fair price from Whispering Reeds. I bought 44 litres, doesn't take Einstein to work out how much my unhappiness is worth!

Trevor, not sure about WR, but a number of places have a sliding scale, I was told it would be 80(p) a litre at a certain yard but as soon as they realised I wanted more than just a car tank full the price dropped to 55p

Our buy price has gone up by nearly 10p/litre inc VAT in the last 3 weeks.
