Hi

Buy a MYFI unit as in the photo, get a 3 Network sim and bingo, you have your own to use anytime anywhere. I’d go for a 1 month rolling contract and close it after the holiday, guess this would work out cheaper than Richardson’s price anyway.

I used this on my own boat with great results. 3Network tend to give the best results on the Broads, though my wife used Vodafone to give use even wider cover.

You can buy the units on eBay cheap, sold mine on there for £30.00 when we sold the boat.

John.

Kind regards, John(Captain

I second last post.  You cannot go wrong with a mifi. We use 3. Never had any problems.

Being Huawei, does it route your calls via Wuhan?
Just wondered.

Yes, I use the 3 mifi unit too. It is Huawei but so far my computer is virus free.  Wink

And why not wind up Mr Orange and buy a Huawei!

Or you could just use your smart phone as a wifi hot spot without buying anything!

Smart phone data can be a tad more expensive I think!
