Maybe not that specific boat but its a pretty standard model for that class. Mind you, the hireboat info on here is not updated or added to be members for some reason!

We hired a Broadsman, with family, in the first year they were launched ( 2013?) Same boat just different layout. There was six of us and the Broadsman layout had two doubles, a twin and three bathrooms. Nicely fitted out , handled well but seemed to use a lot of fuel perhaps because of the hydraulics ? We had done pretty much the same route over the same time the year before and used half as much diesel! I don't know if Monaco is hydraulics or not. Something to bear in mind is that with a 45 footer you do need to plan more in advance, in terms of where you want to moor up. Much less spontaneity than is possible with 35 feet, and certainly no chance of asking people to squeeze up a bit so that you can fit in. That said we did have a lovely week and found spaces at Sutton on a Friday night ( got there early ) and Coltishall on the Sunday. We booked a night at the New Inn, Horning, and managed a space at Ranworth after mudweighting first. This was however the first week in September just as the children were returning to school. We had done exactly the same week the year before. I've looked at the plan for Monaco and I honestly feel that these huge boats with space taken up for a dining table and four chairs when there is already a dinette up in the saloon is a real waste of space. It is a boat after all! So if you only need two bedrooms I personally think a boat shorter in length will give you better value and greater mooring opportunities. Nothing worse than passing by somewhere you would love to stop but realising there is not a chance of a spare 50 feet to slide into! Hope this all helps, Karen

Thank you both for replying...This is our first boat over 35ft, we know we might be limited for moorings but we also love wild mooring, if she will fit in some of them !!..We are on the water mid June, so hopefully mooring won't be too bad..We have seen Monaco on the water each year, so find it strange that there is no reviews, or more pictures anywhere..

G'Day Nick and Tracy How did you find the boat? Any comments you would like to make, particularly on power, and fuel consumption, or have you not been yet due to the cancellation imposed by the government until July 4th due to Coronavirus Depending on Coronavirus we hope to book this boat in June/July 2022 Regards Dave Downunder
