Hi,  we're hiring a Broadsman (#6 I think) from Richardsons at the end of August.  Super busy time I know so I hope we will be able to find moorings for this 45ft monster!

One question I have is about the onboard power. The boat is stated as having 240 supply.  Will there be "standard" 3-pin sockets on board or will we need some sort of adapters for charging iThings etc

Thanks

Mark

The internal pictures on their website look like 13 amp sockets. Take a look, see what you think.

I am sure this boat is a lot quieter when using the electrical generator than a BB boat.

Would be interesting to hear about your holiday and how you found every thing when you return.

Yes, it has several 3-pin sockets.

Hi docbot
We hired Broadsman 5 at the end of September last year. The boat has a 13 amp standard houeshold socket in each cabin. 1 in the saloon and if I remember correctly another towards the back of the boat. There is no generator on board as the power is supplied by an inverter. In my opinion you will find the boat comfortable, warm and at the top end of boating on the Broads.
