In May we have booked Silver Light from Herbert Woods, in the description it says it has 240v standard domestic sockets, will I need any special adapter for charging my phone and tablet. This is our third visit to the broads although it's been 3 years since we were last there and the previous 2 times we hired our boat from Richardsons and I needed a convertor to plug my phone into the socket.

Just bring the same kit you use at home and away you go - the power from the battery on the boat is converted to 230v by an inverter. Some boats have a standard car cigarette type socket and again use the same adaptor as in your car
