Hi all, new to forum and looking for some advice. I am wondering if it is possible to hire a broads cruiser on non standard hire days. I would like to book from a Thursday until either Saturday or Sunday. Does anyone know if this is even possible. Every website seems to be week long or weekend packages. Many thanks.

Hi, I guess it depends how busy the yard is, in the high season I think it would be very difficult although I believe Richardsons still hire for long weekend and mid week breaks but out of season I would suggest ringing the yards and ask the question!

Try Freedom boats, I'm sure they do.

I believe most boatyards short breaks are 3 nights Friday to Sunday night handing back Monday morning and 4 nights Monday to Thursday handing back Friday morning.

For non standard start and end dates You would probably have more chance if you left booking till very near your planned departure.

You could try Pacific Cruisers based on The Southern Broads at Loddon. I'm not even sure if they do short breaks but they are very friendly and I'm sure if they can oblige they will.  Their telephone number is: 01508 520321.  Web site: http://www.pacificcruisers.co.uk/

Kind Regards
