I have previously hired Swan Radiance which was pure luxury for two having a superb rear cabin with a walk around bed. This lovely boat is based in Brundall on The Southern Broads and has the added bonus of a bow thruster. The boat has two separate double beds but is only suitable if you don’t mind a pull out bed in the saloon which has to be made up each night. Another possible issue is the bathroom/toilet may only be accessible through the rear cabin. Use a two headed coin and opt for the rear cabin. Here is a link to the boat. http://www.swancraft.co.uk/2-4-berths.html#b15
I am on Swan Romance in June, this provides many of the comforts of Swan Radiance however has an extra cabin, so no need to make up any beds, plus its new for 2015. I have hired Braemore and she is a lovely boat however personally I prefer the steering position on the Swan boats which although further away from the windscreen is out in the open when the roof is slid back and has a sliding window to the side of the helm if the weather isn't suitable for the whole roof back
Yes Braemore is not so good for steering. When it was built we were show over it by one of the staff at Moores and he said they got it wrong as the seat now gives you a blind spot for viewing forward. He said it should have been put further back. You could look at Fair Duchess which has a good layout and has either 2 doubles or 1 double and 2 single.
