Never hired on the southern broads before but looking at a week in March.

Have been looking at swancraft, has anyone hired their boats and any thoughts.

Hired moon enterprise last year which was fantastic for the 2 of us

We've hired from Swancraft several times and always been delighted with our boat.  Hired Swan Ranger (similar to Rapier) a few years ago and it was immaculate as all the Swancraft boats are.  I don't think you would be disappointed.

Never hired from Swancraft but I know people who have and they were very impressed with both the boat and the service they received.

I regularly hire from Swancraft and have booked again this year.  Not the cheapest fleet or damage waiver charges but luxury comes at a cost.  I would say this boatyard is second to none.  Lovely boats and very well maintained. Cheers

Kind Regards

Hi

I have hired Swan Reflection twice and have booked Swan Romance for June. The boats are immaculate inside and out having been cleaned from top to bottom after every hire (even painted if necessary), they are not cheap however the price reflects the quality, spec and time and effort spent. The only small downside is because they want to concentrate all their efforts on ensuring the boats are in tip top condition, they wont let you on board until 1.30pm-2.00pm at earliest and will expect you to return by 8.30am latest but I think that is same policy with most small quality yards Silverline etc. I have also hired with Pacific who are probably the friendliest and one of the best value yards however the boats aren't as modern or as shiny so to speak but then they cost a lot less.

If you choose either yard you wont go far wrong and the Southern Broads are great.

We hired Swan Rapier a few years ago and couldn't fault it, one of the best boats we have been on. We are going with Swancraft again in May this time on their new boat Swan Romance.
