Slack water is at 8.30am, so around 9.00am for the bridges is good. That's 2 hours from anywhere between Reedham and St. Olaves. Food at The Priory in St.Olaves is very good and there is always the Bell Inn which is also good. Have a safe crossing.
Steve Hi, Travelling North to South a couple of pubs with very good food are The Acle Bridge Inn (approx 2 1/4 hours from Yarmouth) and The Ferry Inn Stokesby (approx 1 3/4 .hours from Yarmouth) There are also some BA free 24 hour moorings at Stokesby. A bit closer to Yarmouth is what used to be The Stracey Arms which I believe is now a Tapas bar (approx 1 1/2 hours from Yarmouth)
Eric has covered South to North but in addition there are BA free 24 hour moorings at Berney Arms Reach on The River Yare (I believe the Berney Arms pub is open). just before Breydon Water and The Fisherman's Bar on The River Waveney just before Breydon Water (Burgh Castle). Burgh Castle also has some BA free 24 hour moorings. Beware of the rise and fall of water at both locations as at times could be up to 5 ft.
