Hi all, my friend and I would like to do a trip for a week on the broads next may.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a boat, we would like it to have 2 separate rooms for sleeping, all I have found so far are 6 berths and a lot of money for the privilege.

Many thanks.

red1leader hi,

Pacific diamond is a nice boat and has 2 separate cabins.  I have hired this boat and was very pleased with the boat the price and the boatyard staff.

This boat also has a bow thruster to aid manoeuvrability.

Have also hired the one below some years ago and was very pleased with it.

We normally go for boats with a cabin and convertible berth in saloon
That way you get a cheapish boat with 2 cabins
Only slight problem is having to mess about setting it up on a night, but it always worked fine for us,cos i grew up going on caravan holidays,so i was used to it

I've not been on this one but if budget is a priority this boat looks excellent value for money. http://www.richardsonsboatingholidays.co.uk/boat/majorca/76/#.U8diP413vIV

Some of the Ocean 30s have a small stern cabin as well as the forward cabin. This would leave the main saloon available and undisturbed at night.
The boat is am old design and would therefore be towards the lower end of the budget.

Having said all that I'm not sure who hires them out!

Try Sapphire from Rico's   It has two en-suite bedrooms and a spacious lounge, cheap on fuel and at the budget end of the range.
