Wow! Thanks for all the replies. I had actually been looking at Superior Light, it ticks quite a few boxes, and certainly looks the part Smile

I'm disappointed to hear that May is closed season.. here in Ireland there is no closed season for coarse, and game season is 1st March - 31st October

Thanks for the info though, will save me carrying a lot of tackle over for nothing!

Been watching the Captain's Blog on Youtube - it has reminded me just how nice the broads are, can't wait!

Will update when I get the boat booked, probably in the next week or two.

I have to be honest I don't know the cost but check out the Brooms Hireboats. They tick a lot of your boxes but not dual steer and no shore power, however, at Easter we were moored at Reedham it was very cold overnight with a strong wind blowing. The following morning the people on the Broom Captain where very happy and reported the heater was more than adequate and they were draft free!
